First NFL Game

So, tomorrow is the first NFL game of the season!! Sure its not any of my favorite teams, and its in Tokyo, and its at 5 AM, and its the first preseason game of the year ... but its still football and I'll be watching it ... er ... TiVo'ing it. I'm predicing right now for the whole world to read, and by world I mean the one or two of you that have read this blog, that this first game, Indy vs. Atlanta will be the two teams fighting it out in Detroit on February 5th. The two favorites, New England and Philly will falter and fail. Both teams WILL be gone by the end of the postseason week two. So, what are everyone else's picks for Super Bowl. I want to hear them. If anyone's right, I'll buy them dinner. Two catches, you only get one guess and I have to know you. Sorry random blog surfer bored enough to read my blog. Anyway, so its def. Indy vs. Antlanta for me. Or, if its not them, it will be Cleveland vs. NY Giants and it will be the biggest landslide victory ever as Big Blue goes down in flames to Big Brown. ;)

well i am not yet ready to make apick and who is going to run for the super bowl this year but i well have it by the end of the week.

But i thought i would share a page from a book am reading ..the book is takeing about QB and managing the game... one of the best examples of superb work by a socalled game manager in recent history is trent dilfer during the baltimore ravens super bowl wininnin season in 2000. The media and public had a picture of dilfer that year that he was not that good. And in later janurary of that year the papers said that the baltimore ravens were going to the super bowl and mioght win it with the worst QB in history. blah blah blah the book goes on... later that year another QB ask the writer what the deal was with dilfer < he should be a huge star> the other QB said the aurthor had this to say he agreed the role that dilfer played on the ravens team was overshadowing the reality of what the play and maan were all about, and he was one of the best QB in the NFL recongnizing it...

Well i hope to say that the browns might just havea decient QB to turn ther luck around if Phil simms is right in his book and Dilfer is a good QB... only time well tell
